The book overall is one of our old standards, a local-seasonal tome before that was all the rage.

Cheers~ BrettTrout Caviarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11236671377889601457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911699913514704266.post-2776568032930200402008-06-30T19:47:00.000-07:002008-06-30T19:47:00.000-07:00I've never tried making cheese at home, but I did ...I've never tried making cheese at home, but I did make it in one of my food science classes in college. And I worked at a cheese factory for a few months after college (I didn't do any cheese making there though).

Cheese is the reason there's a whey industry. Pretty much every cheese plant also makes dried whey, to make some money off the byproduct. And now so many things use whey protein as an ingredient, it’s more of a commodity itself.

Okay, I think that's a long enough comment....

JeanetteAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-911699913514704266.post-65368000363779669452008-06-29T20:16:00.000-07:002008-06-29T20:16:00.000-07:00Transmogrification!Transmogrification!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
